Job Highlights

To ensure that the requirement of quality system (IATF16949) are implemented, reviewed and maintained in accordance with accordance with customer and other applicable legal requirements.  To ensure the adequate and continuing Quality Assurance system whereby the product delivered conform to customer’s specification.  To ensure the smooth operation of QA function in assigned processes including molding, lacquering, printing, laser etching and sub assembly.

Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the QA Manager/Assistant Manager
• Participate on customer complaints and conduct investigation
• Lead IPQC team on IPAC daily activities
• Planning, supervising and leading IPQC team to support on daily production
• Develop, review and implement Engineering Change Order (ECO)
• Disseminate quality information to the related department (Production, Engineering and toolroom for quality improvement
• Ensure accuracy by reviewing , correcting and initiating on all reports prepared by QA supervisor, Leaders and Inspectors under his/her responsibility
• Visit the processes that caused a defect and those that received the defectives and coordinates cooperation among the concerned internal supplier and internal customer chain, until the quality problem is solved.
• Analyze QA rejection regularly, follow up actions from concerned process owners and presents the same to management
• Assists Process Engineers and CQE Engineer the analysis of internal and eternal quality problem
• Review non-conformance part and decide on the disposition
• Ensure the inspection records are kept well and can be traced at all times
• Escalate problems to superior if they are not manageable at his/her level
• Ensure compliance with legal, customer and QEHS management system requirement
• Support customer audit and internal audit

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering
• Knowledge of Quality Engineering, System requirements, basic manufacturing process, ISO14001, IATF16949, VDA 6.3 is advantageous
• Well verse in MS Office, FMEA, SPC and MSA
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Detail oriented and able to travel when required
